Under his leadership, America Mortgages has become a specialist platform dedicated exclusively to serving Foreign Nationals, U.S. Expats, and non-U.S. residents purchasing, refinancing, or investing in U.S. real estate.

Robert co-founded Global Mortgage Group (GMG) alongside Donald Klip to provide institutional real estate financing, bridge lending, and private credit solutions for international investors, family offices, developers, and businesses worldwide.

GMG structures financing solutions across major global markets, including the United States, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, London, and Thailand, working with an extensive network of banks, private lenders, private credit funds, and institutional capital providers.

Robert led the expansion of Citadel Servicing’s wholesale U.S. mortgage platform throughout Asia, establishing strategic relationships with banks, mortgage brokers, and financial institutions.

His role focused on enabling financial institutions across Asia to provide U.S. mortgage financing for Foreign Nationals without requiring traditional U.S. residency or credit history, significantly expanding international access to U.S. real estate financing.

Robert advised international investors on U.S. residential, commercial, and development real estate opportunities while leading business development initiatives focused on overseas investment into the U.S. property market.

Vice President, International Business Development | IBCA Korea 2010–2014

Based in Seoul, Robert worked closely with senior executives at major Korean corporations, including LG Household & Health Care, STX Corporation, Hyosung Corporation, Space Group, and 3M Korea.

His work focused on international business development, Western market strategy, executive coaching, and cross-cultural business communication.

Founder & President | SIGNUM Corporation 1996–2010

Robert founded SIGNUM Corporation, launching one of Hawaii’s first real estate publications and online real estate portals.

He successfully grew the company from a startup into a multi-million-dollar business while pioneering offshore web development operations years before international outsourcing became mainstream.

Mortgage Banking Leadership

Prior to founding GMG and America Mortgages, Robert spent more than a decade in wholesale and retail mortgage banking, holding senior sales and management positions with Morgan Stanley, Fremont Investment & Loan, and One Stop Financial.

Investment & Financial Advisory

Robert began his financial services career with AXA as a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor.

During this period, he earned Million Dollar Round Table recognition and obtained Series 6, Series 7, Series 63, and Life & Health insurance licenses, establishing the financial planning foundation that would later support his career in mortgage banking and international real estate finance.
